Here’s the setup I use to hang/store/display my tenkara rods:
Each hanger came with a kind of rubberized cap that went on top. I removed those and filed/sanded down the top part that was then exposed and which was a bit uneven.
The best thing about it is that you can use removable Command strips made for hanging framed pictures. No need to drill holes in the wall or anything:
